Umbilical Cable Management Systems are specifically designed to provide a neat and tidy solution to the problem of reticulating power and data cables within the office from the ceiling space or from under the floor to workstations and office desks.
At the same time the umbilical protects the cables from mechanical damage and to prevent any undue stress being imposed on the power and data cables should the installed system come under tension. To achieve this the umbilical has a minimum 150kg breaking strain stainless steel cable running through its entire length. Various alternate end terminations are available which include floor weights, cable grippers, floor grommets, floor boxes and ceiling boxes.
